ABOUT JEFF JACKSON

Jeff Jackson, born in 1954, is a Toronto-based multimedia illustrator and painter. He is known for his natural curiosity about the world and his distinctive abstracted style that champions form, colour, and movement over realistic representation. With a deep appreciation for beauty distilled to the essence of each scene, Jackson takes viewers on a journey through iconic locations and structures, idyllic countryside, and everyday encounters with people and life in locations worldwide.

Jackson’s illustrations have been commissioned by creative directors of international newspapers, magazines, and books, as well as by interior designers and architects for restaurant, retail, and corporate installations. Since starting his professional career in the 1980s, Jackson’s paintings have been continuously featured in international galleries.
